Sector event to support communities with the cost of living
Hackney Giving’s Cost of Living funding programme is now open.
Match My Project is an online platform where businesses can donate items needed by community groups.
New scheme supports community groups with resources from businesses. Last week, Hackney Giving launched a collaboration with Match My Project – and we are inviting community groups and businesses to join the platform.
This week we invited local businesses to come together for an evening of wine, nibbles and lively discussion. Businesses big and small were welcome.
We are pleased to announce that Match My Project is launching with Hackney Giving on Thursday 28 November 2024.
Hackney Giving’s Cost of Living funding programme is now open.
Good practice guide highlights Hackney Giving’s partnership work with Hackney Council. Hackney Giving features as a case study in a good practice guide recently published by the Local Government Association (LGA).
Start for Life grants scheme is now open to applications. Hackney Giving is inviting not-for-profit organisations to apply for our new Start for Life funding.

Thanks to you, we funded an extra eight community projects to help people with the cost of living over the winter. The positive impact on people’s lives is clear.
Swimmers at London Fields Lido have donated more than £2000 towards Hackney Giving’s Cost of Living appeal, meaning more support for community groups locally.
